Date Picker Selects One Day Earlier Than Chosen In News Section

Delete all old emails after a certain date i have too many emails. How do i delete all those older than a certain date?

I haven't tried anything because i can't keep selecting and deleting 10,000 old emails. I tried using $(date) in my bash shell script, however, i want the date in yyyy-mm-dd format. The t separates the date portion from the time-of-day portion. Where a.date >= '2010-04-01' it will do the conversion for you, but in my opinion it is less readable than explicitly converting to a datetime for the maintenance programmer that will come after you.
